The Coastal Highway linking Johor Baharu and Nusajaya will be opened to motorists in early April, Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA) chief executive, Ismail Ibrahim said today.

He said the 14.6km expressway, built at a cost of RM900 million, could accommodate 90,000 to 120,000 vehicles at one single time.

"We are now awaiting approval from several authorities, including the Malaysian Highway Authority, the Public Works Department and the local authority to officially open the highway," he told reporters here Wednesday.
