JOHOR BAHARU, July 11 (Bernama) -- The Johor hotel industry is well positioned to cater to the expected influx of tourists with the opening of some 40 new hotels in the state by 2025, says the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH).
Its chairman for Johor chapter, Tengku Ahmad Faizal Tengku Mohamed, said the association projected that 2,000 additional rooms are available this year while another 3,000 rooms are slated to enter the market in 2014.
